HoneyMoon Bali

After our Rom , we went to Bali Indonesia for our Honeymoon . I had went to Bali a number of times for work , therefore i am quite familiar with the place there and hope to bring my wife SL together. This is the first time we travel after knowing each other for so many years .

We arrived Bali in the night , there's nothing to see as is dark . Check ourselves in the hotel , walk to the nearby pubs and restaurants searching for food . It's near to midnight , no restaurants open but somehow thanks god we found one place serving local food but no air-con . We enjoy it very much . Here are some pics taken after our dinner , Mr & Mrs Forest Grump . Hahahaha....

After that, we have no where to go , so decided to have a night rest in the hotel ,,, Good night and see you tomorrow . One last pic before dozing off.

The next day was great , we finally got the chance to see the hotel surrounding , so relaxing and cool . These pics were taken when i step out of my room ,,, SL has a sunshine smile when she saw the swimming pool .

I told SL that i can't wait to bring her to the beach , as we are 50 metres away from the hotel entrance , we saw these 3 flowers on the road and decided to take a pic on them as is quite rare to land on the ground in such nice position.

We reached the beach and the waves roar loudly . Still remember SL shouted WHAW... so beautiful , take pics take pics ... after taking then she said she prefer Australia , where the beach are "more blue".

We went to a home Japanese restaurant where i usually brought my clients to for lunch. I knew SL will like it , we had our lunch there . SL tasted the cooked food while i enjoy my sashimi.

This is the entrance of the Japanese restaurant , seems she found a long lost friend ... hahhaha ...

While waiting for the food , she can't be still . Always looking around and exploring , even the swimming pool in the restaurant.

After the lunch , we head to the beach and play some sea sports. Quite expensive and i don't really understand why all the prices for the rides are in US dollars . We spend almost US$200 at the end of the day .

On the Third day , we went for some sightseeing . and had some strange coffee that we never tasted before , nice to see but terrible to drink . Sucksss....

We had our dinner at Jimbarang , the place is romantic and SL and i had the first experience dining on the beach .

On the last day , while waiting for the departure time in the late evening , we went to a couple of places , visiting the batik . We decided to let the Balinese people do some drawing on our clothes , can't believe it's done in 30 seconds .

We left the place after the drawing, and i had promise SL that i will bring her to the strawberries farm which my friend's friend owned . It's located at a mountain top , took us about 3 hrs to reach there . The temperature is great , around 17-20 degree . We just pluck the strawberries and pop into our mouth . It's damn fresh. We ate a strawberry pancake and order 2 glasses of strawberry juices . It's like a strawberries breakfast for us .... Cheers .

We left the farm and had a light meal in a Italian Restaurant , It took us around 2 hrs to roll down the mountain . SL told me that she likes this bread very much . It tastes sweet . We order a veg pizza & a mutton pizza as our main . Head to the airport after that .

Before we reach the airport we took this last pic , wish to spend more time together. Back to Singapore , got to work even harder as i am a married man now . In a competitive society, we often strive for greater heights and somehow neglect our love ones , In Indonesia , I'hv seen poor families , although they are poor ,their level of happiness are higher than us , unities among family members are closer than us .
I'hv learn something through this journey , to the people who read this blog , Don't just work hard , remember your love ones especially parents. Enjoy with them while we still have a chance .
